Chopped strands refer to short-length fiber materials produced by cutting continuous glass fibers or rovings to specified lengths. They are primarily used to reinforce thermosetting/thermoplastic resins and are widely applied in composites, construction materials, automotive industries,etc.
1.Glass fiber chopped strand for thermoplastics uses a specifically designed sizing with silane- basedcoupling agent. lt has good compatibility with PA, PBT, PET, PP, AS, ABS, PC, PPS, m-PPO, LCP andother matrix resins. The product has excellent strand integrity and fluidity, as well as good molding andprocessability, offering superior mechanical properties and surface quality to the composite parts.
